Before I started hosting websites, if there was a problem with a customers site, or a potential customer wanted me to take a look and see what the problem was, I needed to get into the control panel behind the scenes, which quite often meant I needed to speak to someone. This often proved to be very difficult, mainly due to security and passwords but also to do with business opening times.
Now that I host myself that just isn’t an issue anymore, I am on hand 24-7 and in the unlikely event of a problem I am straight onto it, without needing to go through a third party.
I don’t advertise hosting plans, but I do encourage my customers to host with me and this has proved to be invaluable over the past few years. I may not be the cheapest web host you will find online, but you will have peace of mind that your website is regularly backed up and updated with your theme and plugins & I will always go that extra mile for all my customers.
